Colin spent the first 23 years of his life as a Maryland resident. After finishing college he accepted a position in 1992 at an award winning financial planning company as a licensed loan officer in their mortgage division eventually earning the title of Vice President. After 12 years in that role he formed his own mortgage company, CPG Mortgage, LLC servicing MD, VA and the District of Columbia. After 5 years and with 2 small children he and his wife Linda (UVA grad) decided he should step back from the long hours of his own firm to join a smaller mortgage broker in Alexandria, VA with less demands, affording him more family time.
Having closed almost a billion dollars in home loans over his now 25 year career he has decided to be on both sides of the settlement table as both a licensed Virginia Realtor and a lender.
His leisure time has been spent traveling the world with his family and enjoying time with friends and colleagues on the golf course, jet skiing, fundraising for the Knights of Columbus, playing in the Fairfax Adult Softball league, serving as treasurer on the PTA, and coaching both youth baseball and basketball for many age groups. Colin is very proud to call himself a Virginian.
