Kathi Thornton

Kathi was also an Army BRAT raised primarily in Springfield, Virginia. Kathi followed in her father's footsteps and joined the Army and served over 20 years before settling back in Northern Virginia in 2004 as an Army veteran with her husband from the great state of Texas.

Kathi's diverse experiences and military travels offered her the experience of buying and selling in many different real estate markets with regional housing styles. Kathi has developed great understanding and appreciation of the military homeowner and the VA lending process.

Kathi is also passionate about helping clients in finding a special property and the very important process of making a house a home. With an eye for design, as an avid home improvement guru, she is able to see the true potential of a property and knows how to optimize its utility and value.

Kathi is the mother to five older children and is a devoted wife to her husband who serves as both a pastor and counselor at a local church. When not homeschooling her youngest son, a highschooler and dual enrollment college student, you will find Kathi working on a myriad of projects at home and tending to her Clifton homestead complete with dogs, goats, rabbits, chickens, and electro-culture garden.
